FINALLY back to blogging!!

One reason for not blogging (or rather not being able to blog) is that I've lost the password to my account. But obviously I've managed to enter my account;D;D

Had an eventful holiday after the much hated 'O' Levels.... less than one month to the release of the results!! Feeling even more nervous especially after witnessing the release of the N Lvl results. Hmm.... hope the results for our batch will be not bad. Hopefully can get XM back to band 1;D;D

May be going to Fort Canning Park one day to look for these seeds:

These are very rare in Singapore. So will be a challenge to find the trees that bear them, and even more difficult to collect them.

Long awaited

Been quite 'some time' since i last updated my blog. The break period was before mye to after prelims, was really quite some time ago. Hoped prelim results won't be disappointing, cus somehow it sld be a gauge for 'O' levels..........

Went to visit my pri school tcher on the 31st of August. Ended up waiting hours for my friend and missed the 'visiting time'. Thus had to make another trip on Fri. Ended up waiting as well, but not as long as on Tue, and managed to meet my p6 form teacher. Alright Ms Tan, I will consider taking H2 Chinese if i ever were to enter a JC;D

Completed the Chemistry homework and two math papers during the first few days of sep hols. But somehow I still feel that there's much more left undone......... other sch's geog prelim papers, geog tys, geog black colour booklet, hist and ss revision, and many more. Hmmm....

Thinking of going for a swim during the hols. Haven't been to the pool ever since I went with my bro to one swimming complex in sengkang many months back. Miss swimming but definitely not the smell (or taste) of the water!!:[

Mugging; Mugged

Some others say I'm kiasu.

But think it's perfectly alright. Hmm.... nothing wrong with that. It's the 'O' Level year. Either I strive to do well or regret after that. Of course my choice is obvious. (It's the first one if it doesn't seem obvious to you. lol!!) Now that much load has been taken off me, there is no reason for me not to put in my 100% effort in studying, mugging, etc, you name it.

Had all my revision dates and things to revise planned out like 1 month ago. Meant for term 2, but I think I will save it for after MYE. Will be chionging at super high speed after mid years......

In MYE mood now, so don't talk to me about anything else!!!! except SJAB;D and some other stuff;D

GOH 2010

Today was SJAB Promotion Parade, which marks the end of 4 years (a bit less than that) of hard work, joy, laughter, tears etc. Will REALLY, REALLY miss my squadmates after stepping down. The happy times we had together, and even the sad times we had together, which I felt bonded us together even more. Will miss the nicknames we gave each other, etc. Hahs!!;D;D

So GOH 2010, will you all promise me to come back after you graduate?? I will definitely be back, I promise, so I really hope to see yr faces!!

Anyway, Sec 4 squad 2010 ROCKS! Think they're simply fantastic!! Can't think of any more words to describe them. Also, I am really grateful to my squadmates for being there for me always!!! To wait for me after activity, to meet me early in the morning before Flag Day, to stay back during meetings to hear me crap, and so on. I'm really thankful!;D

Meaningful Encouragement

I felt that whatever Mr Lee (my maths teacher) said today was extremely meaningful. At least that was what I think it is. He said that when we feel like we have no energy to study or do stuff which we think we should do (e.g. homework), we sld have the self-discipline to push ourselves to do it even though our mind may not follow our will. This is what he calls "training the mind".

Also, he adds on to say that sometimes when our mind tells us that we are not in the mood to study, we will tend to slack, and thereafter start to do other meaningless stuff. He says that that shows that we are actually not very tired to the extent that we can't do anything, as we are doing meaningless stuff when we could actually devote our precious time to study for the upcoming examinations. He said that graduating classes should have that spirit!

Seriously, that was exactly what I felt this few days. Sometimes after I have come home from CCA sessions or other school events, I will just sit on the sofa and stare into space. I will just tell myself that I will complete my homework tomorrow, and the tomorrow will never come.

Somehow it seems like Mr Lee's "psychological" talk came just at the right time, at least for myself, and I hope many others also. His talk certainly helped to pull me back onto the track again. From now on, I shall follow the track, and strive towards my goal at the end of the track!!

April's FOOL!! + Competition 2010;D

Today's April's Fool Day, and was a fun day as well. Teachers were tricked by us, and I think the teachers and the students had lots of fun and laughter;D;D;D

And I must say that sec 4 classes are VERY enthu!!! I had higher chinese class at 403 classrm, and biology at 401 classrm;D;D aircon was colder there, compared to my class. Ohya!!! 潘老师 was very blur!!! hahs, she don't understand what's going on, even after I gave her a clue that it has something to do with the date. So obvious lah!!! And yeah, Ms Sia was tricked for 5 times. Hopefully she didn't fell for anymore tricks after our lesson.

And I only remembered there was Earth Hour at 9.30pm on Sat. That was when i saw that Earth Hour msg in my email account. What a good time.....

Weird Day

Today was a weird day, and I really mean "weird". First of all, time seems to be moving very slowly today. We were given 1 hr to complete the Physics SPA Mock Assessment, and I managed to finish the experiment and redo the graph. Was never able to do that previously, and I always had to rush through near the last few minutes...
Also, when Zhengfong and I went for lunch at hougang point, we walked rounds and rounds before we got there (cus we somehow forgot how to get there), and guesswhat, we only took 5 minutes in total. We didnt run though.
Then came the rain. We were walking back to school under the sheltered pavement, then there was a slight drizzle on our right, but nothing on our left. And i am quite sure that was rain, cus there was no way any one can pour water from there. Weird.

444 - Good or bad?

Failed A-maths test!!!!! :( Only scored 10/35. Was nagged by my mum when I got home. Think must be cus I was too tired after camp. Took the test on Mon, directly one day after camp. Cldn't concentrate in class, and kept having the urge to put my head down.

Camp was overall interesting, but I hate Day 2 evening. For one particular reason

Was terribly fedup in school today. Not because of Fabian though, but cus of one paranoid person and another person who accused me. Can't seem to escape from these ridiculous stuff which keeps befalling me. Can you all just keep your mouth shut and stop complaining about things that wasn't present in the first place?? Things are getting more and more ridiculous.........

Break camp;D

March Camp ended today. Both the combat and the HQ must be hoping for this day, after two sleepless (or rather almost sleepless) nights. I only managed to sleep for less than 3 hours in total throughout the camp.......

Camp was smooth in general, but it seems to lack something. Something which I can't describe. There is this awkward feeling about this year's camp, seems different from previous training camps which I have attended. Wondered why too.....maybe this occurs to all trainers??

Having A-maths test tml, wish myself good luck, cus I have not studied for it. My eyes seem as though it will close any moment from now........ But anyway, rest well for all SJAB cadets;D

You know who you are

Went to my mum's friend's house yesterday, and someone said I looked older than my brother. Saded:( But guess what? They thought I was Sec 3. Whew, means I look young in the sense, hahahas!!!! But makes me wonder how 'young' my bro looked...... Sec 1?? That person said Sec 2. LOLs!!!

Got to play blackjack during CNY, and I think only this occasion.....And I won $12 dollars yesterday!! Was over the moon;D;D And when I went to Mrs Seetoh's house, lost 10 cents. Zzzz... Fabian won everything.

Time to mug during the March hols, after March Camp and SLT Recruitment. But after that, it would be Zone Comp, Promotion Test, Promotion Parade, EXCO Elections and Homecoming Day. Wonder why things are always so packed?? (especially in Sec 4)

Sick

Had sore throat, ulcers, cough and flu since Saturday. Felt better today, after lik.....6 days?? Many people seem to be getting sick around this period before Chinese New Year, wonder why?? Thought I could finally relax after a week with 4 tests, but guess what, had lots of homework for the supposed Chinese New Year "holiday", which was only 4 days inclusive of the weekends. Got lots of maths hw, 5 physics prelim papers frm other sch, 1 phy 'o'lvl paper, 2 chem essay qns.........

Exhausted. But still a long way to go......

Unlucky fate

Think I am get more and more unlucky. It all started yesterday.........

Tuesday (2/2/10): I wore the wrong specs to sch (once every hmm.. 3 years??) and that day was actually the day for my class's healthcare screening, and that means there is gonna be an eyecheck!!

To make things worse:
Wednesday (3/2/10): I forgot to bring my foolscap paper and today was English Composition Test!!! Worse still, I found 2 blue pens missing at the start of the English Test, and I had no choice but to use my least favourite blue pen (the only one left). The most frustrating thing was that after the test, I found 1 blue pen in my pocket and the other on the floor. GRRRRRRRRR...... And after AC Training, the General Office was locked, and I had to wait for quite long before the uncle came to open the G.O. door. Hmph, and it was already 7.20 then, and I had to rush home to prepare for History test!!! And the bus broke down, and I had to walk to another busstop to change bus. Shan't elaborate....but the fact was I reached home at 8.30pm. (Just to add on: I forgot to bring my A-maths textbk and AC first aid stuff too)!!!!!

Hope tml would be a better day. And yah, I got a new laptop;D;D cheers!

Gasping for air

Was so fed up today during CCA, with some group of ppl "constantly" disrupting us. These ppl will just melt in the sun i think, can't even withstand some sunlight....

Busy Schedule!!!

Realised that almost everyday of Term 1 week 3 and 4, i am packed with either CCA or some other meetings. Think this is going to continue for subsequent weeks..... Hmm, weird, wonder why i still have so many things on despite being a Sec 4 who is currently preparing for 'O' Levels. That is definitely the highest priority!

Shall try to balance my time well. Was able to do maths almost everyday:D;D so hope that means good time management;D;D

Had no time to on online on Facebook and MSN. Think I'm gonna lose contact with the world soon....Wonder if that's a wise decision to sacrifice my time on the computer and spend them on revision instead???

Waited for 1 entire hr before going up to shake his hand. Really a waste of time. If not for the edusave award, I swear I won't waste my life there.

Many thanks to SGT Isaac for helping me with the AC training today in SJAB HQ, couldn't make it cus of that time-wasting award presentation. Hope the HQ Training was fruitful, cus HQ trainings are rare. Heard NA was disappointing today........Haiz

Kept waking up after dreams of me venting my anger. Wonder what that means...... The weird thing is, the targets are usually my bro, sch mates and sometimes even teachers!!! But just cldn't rmb what i scold them for..... Weird me.

Realised a new hobby: Jogging every Sat at 5pm!

What right has he to say that my classmates are stupid to ask stupid questions. Ridiculous lorh, make almost my whole class hate him. Hmm..... wonder wat has become of teachers nowadays.........

Think gonna be having weekly posts instead of daily posts. Can't find the time. Hardly went online for a week!

Shock of my life

Today was really a shock of my life. 潘老师 was taking us for chinese lesson today, and she kept making us feel nervous about our Chinese 'O' Level results!!! And my hands were trembling when I received the results from her. Thought I might get a B, and that's it, no Higher Mother Tongue....... btu I got an A1 though;D;D;D;D Damn happy siah!! Congrats to all who got their desired grades!!!!!

Congrats to SSGT Shi Li for being able to get on stage;D Your expression was memorable though! Haahs!;D

Amanda changed her hairstyle!!! Was really a shock. Was warned early in the morning....... Saw her during recess, and she called my name. Then I saw her handphone, but told myself it wasn't her. Then ended up it is really her, LOL!!!! Anyways, Happy 16th Birthday!!!!

The start of the beginning

CCA Orientation is finally over!! Good job everyone!! Think this year's cca orientation had no cock-ups, at least for the SJAB Booth;D;D;D

Saw 陈老师 today after AC training and lunch, while walking to the busstop. Heard Montfort Sec has moved to the Serangoon area temporarily cus it is undergoing PRIME. Luckily the primary sch is still intact. Gonna go back during Chinese New Year;D Miss all my pri sch friends!!!

The Race Begins

The first week of sch is really tiring, maybe i just have not got used to school. (although i seem to go sch everyday during the hols) First day and i have to fold papers, and mr chew said that i am like working in a factory, hahs!!! think they use machines these days!!;D

Shall start chionging for 'O' levels already, no time to relax le. Suddenly feel that I have many things to do, but still have to find time within the midst. Gonna get 'O' level chinese results next mon, and i'm really scared of getting a B3 for chinese, cus that means no Higher Mother Tongue!!

"I am a sec 4!", "This year is 2010". Think I need to get this two phrases into my head asap. Keep having confusions, hopefully it isn't a sign of ageing, hahs;D

Tml's gonna be the first day of sch. Hope it doesn't rain, cus it has ALWAYS (think so) been raining on the first day of sch!!!! Don't wanna get my new shoes wet.

Hope Orientation would flow smoothly......smoothly for once after quite some time.
